The Full Story
Hi, I’m Rebekah — the designer behind Be Still Studio.
I started Be Still Studio as a way to organize the creative work I had already been doing for years, while creating space to continue that work from home as a wife and mom.
I grew up on the mission field, where I first saw the need for thoughtful, clear church design and media. Later, I attended Vision Baptist College, where I studied design and met my husband, Preston.
During my time in college, my family transitioned from missions to pastoring our home church in Ohio. After graduating and getting married, both myself and my husband were hired on as staff at Anchor Baptist Church, I spent several years working in the church office designing weekly bulletins, building a website, creating a logo and brand guide, managing media, and helping shape the church’s visual communication from the ground up.
As I worked in ministry, more churches began reaching out with similar design needs, and what started as helping where I could, slowly grew into its own work.
Today, my husband and I serve at Anchor Baptist Church, where my dad pastors and my husband serves as assistant pastor. These days, I’m grateful to spend my time designing for churches, photographing meaningful moments, and building a home centered around Christ, family and ministry.
